Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalency diploma with 2+ years prior experience in PLC and  HMI/Touchscreen programming
  • Prior experience programming in Siemens Step7 and WinCC Flexible
  • Prior experience programming in Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Visual Studio
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs
  • A current driver license and a clean driving record with the ability to be covered under company auto insurance.
  • PLC communications protocols is a plus
  • Prior experience in programming for natural gas compressor stations a plus.
  • AutoCad Electrical experience a plus

General Duties

  • Manage industrial control panel projects from start to finish. This includes creation of drawings, Bill Of Materials, communication with customers, PLC and HMI programming, and field service commissioning.
  • Professionally communicate with customers – both verbally and in writing – concerning project status, program needs and reports.
  • Attend and participate in weekly engineering meetings. Work with purchasing and production teams to ensure accurate and updated project schedules.
  • Work with vendors to provide the best solutions for our customer’s applications.
  • Create and maintain project documents.
  • Provide continuous improvement for organizational growth
  • Travel to customer’s site for field support and commissioning. This can include international travel.
