Required Experience

  • High School Diploma with 4-5years experience as electrical assembler or 2 Year Technical Degree with 1 years’ experience as electrical assembler.
  • Prior experience with oversight of production schedules and leading team priorities.
  • Ability to build an industrial control panel, from prints, with no supervision, and meet the company quality standards.
  • Ability to test, verify, and locate workmanship problems during inspection of an electrical control panel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills. Excel experience is a plus.
  • Be a team captain while being a team member at the same time.
  • Current Texas driver license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs.

General Duties

  • Primary duty is to oversee and maintain the production work schedule on a daily basses. In addition, work with other departments to ensure production completes jobs on-time, every time.
  • Lead production team meetings at the start of every day; recapping prior day’s activities and reviewing/adjusting activities for that day.
  • As a production team member, assemble electrical control panels.
  • Ensure products are built to company quality standards and enforce quality controls.
  • Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
  • Maintain production tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a supply of yard materials on the production floor based on weekly workloads.
  • When required, train team members in assembly of electrical control panels per company standards.
  • Seek to continually improve the efficiency of the production process and procedures.
  • Provide weekly reports for production metrics and production capacity
